NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included. This is a permanent, part-time position of 29.6 hours per week, with a shift pattern of Monday to Friday. Please note the salary is Pro Rata for part-time hours. A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic HCSW based in the Ophthalmology outpatient department of Royal Alexandra Hospital. The successful candidate will be expected to work as part of the Ophthalmology team, supporting the registered nursing team and be involved in all care needs within the outpatient department. You will be required to work within busy clinical areas, collaborating as part of the multidisciplinary team. HCSW experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given. You are required to be flexible, forward-thinking, and able to work effectively within a changing and dynamic environment. You should have excellent communication skills and an eagerness to learn.
