We're seeking an Offensive Security Engineer to work with our clients on complex, real-world security challenges. If penetration testing, vulnerability research, and custom security tool creation excite you, this is the role for you! As an Offensive Security Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting penetration tests, vulnerability assessments, and research for a diverse range of clients across industries. Your work will directly help organisations identify critical vulnerabilities, create tailored security solutions, and strengthen their defences. You'll collaborate with client teams, helping them integrate security best practices, and advising on securing complex environments. This consultancy role offers you a variety of exciting challenges, as you'll be working with multiple clients on different security projects. You'll not only be testing systems and building custom exploits, but also have the opportunity to create automation tools, advise on security strategy, and engage with clients to improve their overall security posture. Offensive Security Engineer - Responsibilities: Conduct penetration tests and vulnerability assessments to uncover critical vulnerabilities for clients. Develop and deploy custom exploits, tools, and scripts for penetration testing and vulnerability research. Collaborate with client teams to remediate risks, integrate security best practices, and secure their infrastructures. Build and enhance automation for vulnerability detection, reporting, and exploitation. Stay ahead of the curve by researching and implementing cutting-edge offensive security techniques, and advise clients on security strategies. Offensive Security Engineer - Requirements: Proven experience in offensive security or penetration testing, ideally within a consultancy environment. Strong technical expertise in exploit development, vulnerability assessment tools, and manual testing. Hands-on experience with scripting or development languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Knowledge of attack techniques, TTPs (Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures), adversary simulations, and threat-hunting methodologies. A creative, methodical approach to problem-solving, with a keen desire to uncover the unexpected and deliver bespoke security solutions to clients.
