Business Development Manager - Consumables - SRS, UKI We are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive forward the Consumable business through the generation and execution of the correct strategies that will deliver profitable, sustainable growth. You will have the opportunity to be the Commercial Specialist for developing consumable products with infection control sales for all existing & future customers in the UKI year-on-year, whilst supporting current products, members of the SRS team and external customers. You will champion the day-to-day management and engagement of UK & Ireland distributors while promoting the range of consumable products manufactured and marketed by Getinge. Main responsibilities will include: Daily communication with Account Managers and members of the SRS Team. Main point of contact for all existing customers for Getinge Assured and consumable sales enquiries. Main point of contact for internal stakeholders within the relevant Business Area. Responsible for Consumable pricing in UKI as well as go to market strategies for new products. Produce quotes/tenders, pricing agreements and associated correspondence within given timescales. Deliver corporate and product specific presentations to all key stakeholders (internal and external). Follow up and monitor bid progress to financial close working directly with customers and the Capital Sales team. Provide sales support to customers on a daily basis with selling, education, evaluations and follow up visits. Responsibility for the Consumable Division, ensuring that Turnover, GP and EBITA targets are met in accordance with approved budgets. Implementation of all key educational programs and tools. Ensure that the internal sales systems are used consistently and effectively (e.g. CRM system). Meet sales targets / establish opportunities and develop strategies to maximize opportunities. Support promotional activity as directed by sales management. Timely completion of administrative tasks and projects including consumable tender submissions. Excellent written and spoken English is essential. Continuous Professional Development Achieve and manage your individual workload within agreed parameters set by your line manager. Update your progress against work activities and professional development with line manager through regular planned meetings. Continuous professional development and identifying ways and methods to update your own knowledge, skills, experience and competencies. What you need: Qualifications/Experience: HND/degree level, ideally in Science or Engineering (desirable). Demonstrable experience of budget/forecasting/financial acumen. Demonstrable commercial acumen. Significant experience working within the Infection Control and DHS business would be a distinct advantage. Experience working in a multi-site environment. Proven successful sales background with hands-on approach to "lead by example". A strong background in dealing with clients at a high level. Working knowledge and experience of sales within the medical field. Strong analytical and negotiation skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. IT Literature: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint. Personal qualities: Self-motivated, able to work flexibly and under pressure in a dynamic and changing environment.
