Main duties of the job Delivering direct patient care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring safety, comfort, and well-being. Assessing, planning, and implementing nursing care for patients presenting with a range of conditions. Managing patient flow and ensuring efficient and timely care delivery in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team. Administering medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring their effects, and documenting appropriately. Supporting patients and their families by providing information, reassurance, and emotional support during critical and stressful situations. Working closely with senior nurses and doctors to manage clinical situations and contribute to decision-making. Participating in handovers, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is shared for continuous care. Maintaining high clinical and safety standards in line with hospital protocols and policies. Assisting with the training and development of junior staff and students, promoting a supportive learning environment. Continuously developing your clinical skills and knowledge through ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
