On behalf of our client, we are looking for an immigration solicitor with at least 2 years PQE who has good experience working in a busy immigration law firm. The duties and responsibilities will include handling all work on immigration applications, appeals, and Judicial Reviews.
The successful applicant will also be expected to have:
Good knowledge of immigration rules, visa categories, application forms, procedures, and requirements;
Experience dealing with various immigration applications including Points Based Applications, Spouse visa applications, British Citizenship applications, Tier-based applications, Sponsor Licence and Certificate of Sponsorship applications, and personal immigration applications;
Excellent communication and drafting skills;
Ability to work under a heavy workload and to tight deadlines;
Ability to work as part of a team;
Skills to correctly apply the relevant Immigration Rules and Regulations to the given circumstances of a client;
Good analytical skills;
This role is based in our client's office in Bedford.
