Job Summary Clinical Nurse Specialist - Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust CAMHS We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Multi-Agency Psychological Support (MAPS) team for Children Looked After in Sheffield. You will provide specialist mental health support, including Attachment and Trauma work, to children in care. You will work with Social Care and other professionals to deliver interventions at multiple levels. Experience with children in care is beneficial but not essential - you'll have the chance to learn through joint working, peer guidance, and training. Main duties of the job Reporting into the Senior Clinical Nurse Manager, your responsibilities will include: Provide clinical and managerial leadership to support team development. Manage your own caseload, working independently and collaboratively with colleagues. Deliver assessments, treatment plans, and care for children, young people, and families. Offer a range of therapeutic interventions, ensuring holistic care in partnership with CAMHS, education, and social care teams. Lead junior Nursing/Mental Health Practitioner colleagues. Provide expert clinical advice, with an understanding of therapeutic interventions and clinical management strategies. Ensure clinical governance principles are followed to maintain and improve quality care. Promote best practices in clinical risk management, health, safety, and workplace security.
