We have an excellent opportunity for an Expense Accounting Manager to work within our Fund and Investment Accounting team based in London on a 18 months fixed term basis (hybrid working). As an Expense Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for the BAU expenses accounting processes for our Pooled Funds. You will be hands on in providing support and expertise to your direct report to ensure all transactions and processes are completed accurately and in a timely manner. You will have ownership for inputs into the sub-ledger and general ledger process and be responsible for processing invoices, managing and reviewing month end journals, including all prepayments and accruals. We are looking for someone with demonstratable experience in expense accounting, and who is proficient in using Microsoft Excel. Some previous line management experience is essential to allow the successful candidate to effectively support and develop their direct report as well as ensuring that all transactions are completed faultlessly. Previous experience of using SunSystems would be advantageous, but not essential. We are looking for someone who will be able to communicate and work closely with the F&IA and Finance team, with the ambition of building effective relationships. You will help to identify and implement process improvements within the function and therefore being proactive in your thinking is key, as is having the ability constructively challenge stakeholders and processes to allow for the continual development of the function.
