We are experiencing growth across all categories, specifically within Mechanical & Electrical/Engineering Procurement, seeing significant expansion across Europe. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of regulations, along with exceptional negotiation, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Specific experience in both public and private sectors for mechanical & electrical/engineering areas.
Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with project goals and timelines.
Understanding of key M&E/engineering markets and key suppliers.
Understanding of key M&E/engineering negotiation levers used to drive optimal commercial outcomes.
Develop and oversee sourcing strategies in M&E/engineering related categories.
Engage and influence stakeholders at an operational level to gain their support and commitment.
Identify, monitor, and manage project risks, ensuring mitigation plans are in place.
Establish existing baselines and gain agreement with clients and Programme/Account Managers.
Provide leadership and guidance to the procurement team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
About You:
Proven experience in M&E/engineering procurement for large complex projects.
Ideally, sector experience which includes Utilities and/or Energy sectors.
Facilities Management Hard Services which can include sub-category knowledge of HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning).
Preferred knowledge of public or private sector regulations and standards.
Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
Team management experience including coaching and mentoring.
Ability to identify and manage project risks effectively.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
