Monday to Friday Days with flexi start times Pension Life Assurance EAP My client, a leading manufacturer, is looking for an experienced Production Team Manager to support the Operations Manager at a growing business. The successful candidate will manage all shift processes, production, and work to health & safety & quality standards. This is a great role for a motivated individual with manufacturing experience to join a progressive business, both working with and developing a growing team. Role Description: Deputise with the site Production Manager in their absence and support the Manufacturing Manager. Manage the daily plan provided by the demand team to meet overall production requirements using appropriate resources to each activity. Check the availability of materials for manufacturing plans. Ensure finished goods are manufactured according to SOPs and all activities comply with Quality & Environmental, Health & Safety Standards such as ISO9001, ISO 13485. Full management of production processes across areas such as packaging, freeze drying, and cartridge areas. Keep the training program up to date for all staff. Manage any issues that arise in the production area. Coordinate effectively with internal departments on new products and improvement projects. Skills and Qualifications: Experience working in an FMCG manufacturing environment; medical/pharma experience is highly beneficial. Team and people management experience, including managing performance. Ability to lead and develop teams, spotting training and development opportunities. Ability to build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
