Job Description IT Desktop Support Technician needed at local school for a minimum of 4 weeks, with potential for longer! ***Must hold valid DBS**** Hours: 8am – 4:30pm with an hour unpaid lunch (37.5 hours per week) Location: Near Ashton-Under-Lyne Reporting to the School’s IT Manager, as the IT Desktop Support Engineer, you will be involved with upgrades on over 550 PCs and general day-to-day IT support within the school. Good knowledge of desktop technologies for Windows 7 through to Windows 10 support 1st and 2nd Line Microsoft Office 2010 / 2013 / 2016 / Office 365 Maintenance and troubleshooting of printers Good communication skills – written and verbal Ability to work as part of a team Ability to diagnose faults and find solutions Ability to maintain strong relationships with customers Able to follow agreed procedures and documentation User administration of Microsoft Server 2008 / 2012 / 2016 User administration of Exchange 2010 / 2013 / 2016 / Office 365 A base understanding of networking protocols and devices
