We are looking for a
Senior EC&I Engineer
to join our Substation Replacement Project (Sub 15) team in Birchwood Park or Westlakes Ind. Park. (the role is hybrid)
This is a strategically linked electrical infrastructure project that aims to provide a safe, secure and resilient supply to all reliant downstream feeds by initiating a Substation replacement programme, for which Sub 15 is the first one being implemented.
Responsibilities:
Delivery of engineering design in support of Substation replacement for the provision of 11kV Substation Module(s), Switchboard and Ancillaries. Production and checking of engineering deliverables to support design development through concept, preliminary and detail design phases. Site Surveys of electrical assets. Support the production of engineering documentation and drawings, including but not limited to; Site Survey Reports, Single Line Diagrams (including protection diagrams), Cable Routing, Block Cable Diagrams, CDM Risk Assessments, Cable Calculations, Cable Cards, Outline Installation Method Statements, CAE, input to optioneering, etc. BIM input where required. Support to Single as well as Multi-Discipline Design Review & Production of Minutes of Meetings.
Requirements:
Degree qualified CE&I Engineer (or equivalent through enhanced experience). Knowledge and experience in project delivery throughout the complete project lifecycle. Familiarity with a range of available CAE technologies and techniques. Good knowledge of design, construction and commissioning of 11kV Substations, HV and LV cable routing and associated control cabling.
