Our Downstream Chemical Team uses Best-in-Class Technologies and industry expertise to enhance the crude oil processing value chain. We provide our refining customers with effective chemical treatment control solutions for emulsion, corrosion and fouling; through to water treatment and fuel additives enabling broad optimisation of operating costs.

Partner with the best

As a Service Delivery Engineer, you will provide a vital service by implementing, monitoring, and evaluating chemical delivery systems. Taking ownership of teams/sites, you will ensure the client has the service needed to operate in a safe and compliant manner while supporting our customer's needs.

Responsibilities: Implementing, monitoring, and assessing chemical injection systems and production fluids to ensure customer quality. Sampling, analysing and reporting on routine process and water streams to determine system performance. Maintaining chemical and inventory surveillance and operating functions to ensure correct rates of operation. Troubleshooting and correcting customer systems to resolve production related challenges and to ensure optimization of well performance. Overseeing product dosage rates and application changes for customer specifications to meet defined objectives. Providing technical guidance for mobilization and demobilization of chemical injection systems to ensure safety and performance. Placing orders of products, chemicals and delivering them to customers to ensure required inventory and stock levels.

To be successful in this role you will: Have a technical diploma, degree or equivalent, related work experience. Show good, general technical knowledge of company's products and services and their applications to customer needs and requirements. Have good laboratory practice experience in an analytical or industrial environment. Be a self-starter, proactively taking the initiative to identify and solve problems. Demonstrate a customer-focused mindset and have a structured efficient approach to responding to customer needs. Have excellent all-round communication skills. Show a good understanding of IT such as MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook). Be able to demonstrate experience working with cross-functional teams within a global-matrix environment.
