About the Role Due to ongoing growth and expansion we are looking to recruit a Senior Insolvency Consultant in either our Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Canberra office. We operate a collegiate work model where you will work directly with Principals and are actively encouraged and supported to pursue your own career objectives. This role will provide you with exposure to a full range of formal insolvency appointments such as voluntary administrations, liquidation, receiverships and bankruptcy as well as informal engagements such as investigative accounting and restructuring / turnaround engagements. Tasks could include a mix of : Day to day assistance on a wide variety of formal and informal corporate and personal insolvency appointments on behalf of the appointees Provide turnaround, restructuring and insolvency solutions to the firm’s client base Provide guidance, advice and QA to Graduates and Junior consultants on the day-to-day requirements of the appointment Prepare reports to creditors, directors, financial institutions and investors Work with clients to achieve turnaround objectives Maintain register of appointments that the team is responsible for and ensure tasks and timelines are set weekly for the advancement of those appointments Requirements : Must have a minimum 1-2 years Insolvency experience in a similar role with similar client base Well-developed insolvency technical knowledge and capable of managing multiple files Bachelors Degree in Accounting or similar field CA / CPA qualified or working towards qualification ARITA qualified or working towards qualification Join a rapidly growing Insolvency firm with a supportive culture, where we celebrate our staff and their successes.
