Make an impact as a Field Service Engineer. Ideally based in the Midlands, with travel throughout the UK. The role comes with a competitive salary, plus company car, paid overtime, expenses, company contributory pension, private healthcare, and 25 days holiday plus stats. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for: Planned and breakdown maintenance and project work on a variety of automated systems. Working on conveyors, autostore, ASRS cranes, power-store, racking systems, high-bays, pallet wrapping machines, packaging machinery, and a variety of other equipment. Ensuring adherence to all relevant instructions and technical standards, helping the customer maintain systems in good working condition. Conducting training on subject matters with sufficient expertise to internal staff and/or customers/subcontractors/suppliers. Dealing promptly with customer enquiries, complaints, or problems. Adhering to company and customer safety regulations. Application Requirements

What you need to succeed: A recognised Apprenticeship in Electrical or Mechanical engineering. Able to work safely at heights, with a good level of fitness. Able to demonstrate proficiency with a normal range of hand and power tools. Result-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Good customer service skills, including the ability to communicate at all levels. Willingness to take stand-by shifts and work outside normal working hours when required.
