Sheridan Maine is collaborating with our client based in Weymouth to recruit a Senior Finance Analyst capable of providing analysis and insight at both detailed and strategic levels. The successful candidate will join a welcoming and supportive finance team on an initial six-month fixed-term contract.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparing and participating in the monthly accounts review, ensuring that all variances are accurate and understood. Supporting with the preparation of quarterly forecast submissions and liaising with Finance Business Partners and the budget owners. Providing input into the month end process to ensure accurate management accounts. Ensuring an up to date view on actuals and full year end forecast spend is available. Assisting with the compilation of reports and accounting. Leading the monthly finance meetings with cost centre managers to present insightful analysis on current performance and future spend to ensure financial targets are met.

Skills and Experience:

The ability to present and explain financial information in a meaningful way to non-finance areas of the business. Part qualified or studying toward an accounting qualification. Intermediate Excel skills for effective data management. Ability to build strong working relationships with the management team. Excellent accuracy and attention to detail, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines.
