About Our Client Well established business in Woking. Job Description Support the Financial Accounting manager with accounting tasks including but not limited to: intercompany reconciliations on a monthly basis, deconsolidation on a monthly and annual basis, balance sheet controls including the centralisation of a second review function, and ensuring audit readiness. Maintain the approvals matrix for the business and ensure alignment within systems as far as possible, identifying and escalating risk. Actively work to optimize the control environment and uplift/refresh supporting documentation wherever possible. Work with the internal audit function and update them regularly, leading any internal audit engagements with the support from the head of department. Assist with half yearly audit/review and interim procedures in line with shareholder deadlines. Coordinate with the Tax Manager on emerging, historic, and complex tax matters, seeking external support where required. Build a reference library for the business which includes VAT (multi jurisdiction), reverse charge, and corporation tax. Maintain and enhance the relationship with HMRC representatives, attending scheduled visits and audits. Support with transfer pricing activities as required, including the implementation of local file and supporting documentation for intercompany arrangements. Review and ensure timely submission of all direct and indirect tax submissions. Country by country reporting. Become a key user and administrator (user and chart of account maintenance) of all accounting and financial reporting IT systems. Contribute to the management and development of new solutions and clear implementation issues. Carry out such other duties as are consistent with your role and your skills and capabilities as may, from time to time, be required by the company. The Successful Applicant Knowledge & Skills - Essential: ACA/ACCA qualified. Excellent organisational skills. Able to communicate and work at a senior level within a large, complex organisation including overseas teams. Experience of working in a multinational and multicurrency organisation. Knowledge of sustainability and governance reporting requirements. What's on Offer £65,000 - £75,000 + Benefits.
