We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join a growing global, family-owned business on a permanent basis. This role will involve supporting the Dubai, Australia, and Singapore entities while overseeing and collaborating with an in-country team of four finance professionals. As Accountant, you will report to the Financial Controller, with substantial interaction with the Finance Director and Regional Director. As an integral part of our Finance Team, your responsibilities will include: Producing accurate monthly management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flows, completing with insightful analysis and commentary. Ensuring all balance sheet accounts are fully reconciled and ledgers closed on time. Proactively managing working capital by delivering accurate stock reporting, driving timely debt collection, and overseeing supplier payments. Preparing annual budgets and statutory accounts, along with VAT, GST, and corporation tax returns. Managing cash flow forecasting and FX movements for overseas transactions. Providing payroll information to an outsourced service and ensuring timely approvals and payments. Contributing to process improvements by implementing and maintaining robust financial controls and procedures. Leading, mentoring, and supporting a skilled in-country finance team to achieve collective goals. The organisation is looking for someone with a blend of technical skills and personal attributes, including: Professionally qualified or part-qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), or qualified by experience. Proven experience preparing management accounts, controlling cash flow, and working with Directors and Business Leaders. Experience managing junior staff and collaborating across multi-jurisdictional teams. Proficiency in Excel is essential; knowledge of Great Plains is desirable but not mandatory. A proactive, positive, and confident personality, capable of managing change effectively. Strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a flair for presenting financial information clearly. Flexibility and a collaborative approach to work.
