PMO Manager Hybrid role - around 4 days per week on site Based on the outskirts of Leicester, driving licence required.

We are looking for an experienced PMO Manager / Portfolio Manager to oversee a range of business and IT projects within the retail and hospitality sector. Due to an increase in IT and Business Projects, we are seeking a leader with a strong project management background to coordinate, track, and deliver a large number of projects. This is a multi-faceted role, where you will work with business leaders to triage and evaluate projects and their benefits, define project plans and resource needs, and establish governance and processes while growing the PMO team from the ground up. Projects will be varied across IT / Technology and the Business. These could include software implementation such as ServiceNow, finance, payroll, or HR software along with network and infrastructure projects such as office moves and cloud projects. Business projects could include sales processes within the call centre, service improvement, business process, and business change.

You will be an experienced Project Manager or Portfolio Manager looking for progression within a varied role that offers the chance to grow the PMO team and implement best practices and methodologies. You will be seeking a new challenge that maximizes your broad background and communication skills. You must have proven experience in both IT and Business Projects, managing multiple cross-discipline projects, and working to Agile methodologies. Project budget management, tracking, presentation, coordination, and reporting skills are essential - you should have been the 'go-to' person for all project-related matters. Excellent collaborative skills, tenacity, confidence, and diplomacy are required as you will be working with all levels within the business. Ideally, you will come from a medium-sized company within the retail, financial services, or hospitality sector. This role will involve working with teams based across the UK, so a small amount of travel may be necessary. Relevant qualifications include Prince2, Agile, or similar.
