Technical Support Specialist

who is eager to provide exceptional IT support to their dedicated staff and contractors. The company is a fast-growing global organization that specializes in responsibly sourced and sustainably managed forest resources. They are looking to recruit for multiple positions as some large projects get underway and headcount continues to expand. The Role:

This position is suited to a proactive go-getter who finds joy in delivering outstanding customer service and flourishes within a collaborative team setting. This pivotal role encompasses the management of incidents, service requests, and administrative tasks. The Service Desk operates from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday. Flexibility is key, as schedules may be tailored to accommodate operational needs. Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive technical support for the team. Oversee IT asset procurement and register management. Master and support all technology services. Handle support queries via phone, tickets, IM, and in-person. Manage user access across Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and M365 Admin consoles. Document incident resolutions thoroughly in the ticketing system. Conduct desktop-level remote troubleshooting, including software updates and system configurations. Escalate complex incidents and identify service trends. Ensure quality follow-ups post-incident resolution. Manage user access requests and conduct access reviews. Carry out routine IT operational tasks. Participate in a 1-week-in-12 on-call rotation. Desired Skills:

Educational Background: Post-secondary degree or equivalent professional experience. IT Experience: Minimum of 2 years at an IT Service Desk or in a Call Centre role. Mobile Expertise: Proficient with iOS and Android platforms. Microsoft Mastery: Solid understanding of Windows 10, Windows 11, Active Directory/Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft 365. Detail-Oriented: Keen attention to detail in all tasks. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills for informed decision-making. Travel-Ready: Open to periodic travel as needed. Safety-Conscious: Always vigilant and safety-aware. Interpersonal Skills: Excellent at engaging and interacting with others. Team Player: Collaborative spirit to work well in team settings.
