Hybrid Working - Local - 1 day a week on site. Lorien's leading banking client is looking for Automation Engineers to join the existing team on a brand-new project. As an Automation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and implementing cutting-edge automation frameworks and testing strategies from scratch. You will work within a dynamic environment, ensuring the seamless delivery of robust, efficient, and scalable solutions across our banking and data analytics platforms. This role is based at a local site and will be via Umbrella. Key Skills and Experience Design, develop, and implement automation frameworks from the ground up. Set up comprehensive automation testing processes to ensure software quality and reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end automation solutions within a banking and data analytics environment. Analyse and identify areas for process optimisation and automation. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in automation testing. Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior team members. Skills & Experience Required Proven experience in building automation frameworks and automation testing strategies from scratch. Strong expertise in automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or equivalent frameworks. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Java. Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration of automation within them. Experience working within banking, financial services, or data and analytics environments. Strong knowledge of API testing and data validation techniques. Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
