Injection Moulding Engineer
4 on 4 off - 4 Days & 4 Nights
£40,000 + £3500 Shift Allowance / Sheffield
We are looking for a motivated Multi Skilled Engineer to join a manufacturing company. Reporting directly to the engineering manager, you will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. You will be involved in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within their operation. With progressive training and development, this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, while additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers. The position will appeal to a strong engineer looking for their next challenging role within a secure and stable company.
Role Description
Duties and responsibilities will include maintenance (TPM) and repair of plastic injection mould tools, to the highest standards. Preparation of tooling for production. Assistance with new mould introduction. Fault finding and identification of issues with moulds already in production. Assist with and service tooling within the group.
The Ideal Candidate
A confident and highly skilled individual. Proactive and organised. Able to work independently. Commercially focused, with a positive attitude. Up-to-date knowledge of relevant CAD/CAM manufacturing processes. Experience of work in a similar position. Be flexible, reliable, and willing to learn. Confident team player, happy working with a multitude of people. Able to work under pressure with meticulous attention to detail. Good communicator. Effective problem solver, able to work collaboratively.
Skills and Qualifications
NVQ Level 3 or similar qualification in a manufacturing background. Or time served within a manufacturing discipline.
