Working closely with our Chief Executive, this role will enable you to play a pivotal role in creating and driving a far-reaching strategic vision across the Policy, Performance and Communications division, the Council and the wider city. Engaging with partners, stakeholders, colleagues and citizens alike, you’ll take responsibility for the successful delivery of our ambitious plans. Able to manage high-level relationships with members, senior executive colleagues and central government, you’ll quickly establish a reputation as the go-to person for energy, resilience and momentum. Responsibilities: Develop and implement a strategic vision for the Policy, Performance and Communications division. Engage with stakeholders and partners to ensure successful delivery of plans. Manage relationships with senior executives and government officials. Provide leadership and direction to the team. Minimum Requirements: Extensive senior leadership experience. Track record of generating and delivering inspiring visions. Exceptional skills in people management, budgets, finance, planning, and programme management. Ability to build and leverage powerful networks. Experience in qualitative and quantitative analysis for progress assessment. To apply please click the
