This company specializes in the production of biogas through the process of anaerobic digestion at a number of sites across Scotland and has been continuously expanding throughout recent years largely due to their success in partnering with major distilleries. They have a number of new sites in planning, construction, and commissioning phases across Scotland and are also beginning to move into other areas of Renewable Energy supported by the recent establishment of offices in England. Role Responsibilities: Assessing and specifying required Control System networks for site Producing BOMs for required hardware and software Producing Functional Design Specifications Leading on Factory Acceptance Testing Supporting with commissioning and validation activities during startup phase of new sites Troubleshooting for site programming and communication issues Minimum Requirements: Educated to at least HNC/HND level in an Electrical or Control Systems Engineering discipline Previous experience gained in an industrial/production/process plant Demonstrable experience in designing control systems Full UK driving license and comfortable with travel to other sites around Scotland when required This is a great position for someone looking to take the next step up in their career by getting onboard with a well-known and leading player in Scotland's Renewable Energy market, where they can gain specialized industry training as well as further progression opportunities.
