The role: Opportunity for a dynamic Construction Associate 3+ years PQE or CILEX seeking a role based in Bath. This role would suit someone who wants their practice to be a one-stop-shop when it comes to managing construction transactions and contentious matters for client projects. You will be involved in the drafting and negotiation of construction contracts including JCT, NEC3 and FIDIC standard forms. Further, you will advise on a mix of disputes in the pre-action stage and in adjudication, arbitration, mediation and in court. Apart from fee-earning, they're looking for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset who can deepen existing relationships and diversify new ones. You'll also show leadership qualities and have a say in the strategic direction of the practice whilst supporting juniors with their development.
