Summary of Role

You will deliver main contract fire sprinkler projects on time, to budget and in accordance with customer and regulatory requirements. Project values can range from £100k to £5m across a range of different sectors e.g. retail, manufacturing, warehousing, commercial.

What you will be doing

Leading and initiation/handover meetings with all stakeholders including Sales, Design, QS. Production and maintenance of project programme. Attendance at internal project Cost To Complete (CTC) meetings. Completion and submission to relevant stakeholders of all end-of-project documentation e.g. O&M, As-Fitted Drawings, Certification. Ensuring installers are adequately briefed, are competent & qualified to fulfil all project requirements. Supporting and managing of on-site resources ensuring all issues are resolved and the programme maintained. Completion & submission of project Quality Plans (as required). Participating with internal & third part audits. Identifying, recording & ensuring the resolution of any supplier generated non-conformities. Management of material and labour costs. Identification and invoicing of variations to contract & raising of final accounts. Undertaking & recording on-site inspections in accordance with EHS001 scheduled frequency. Facilitating on-site toolbox talks & completion of all H&S related documentation Inc. RAMs, attendance sheets etc.

What we will need from you

Working knowledge of BS EN 12845 & LPS1048 Schemes (essential). Working knowledge of engineering drawings (essential). LPCB Testing & Commissioning Module 2 Competent (highly desirable). LPCB Site Inspection Module 1 Competent (highly desirable). Familiarity with the principles of Prince 2 project management methodologies (essential). You will have experience in managing complex projects with budgets up to £5m (essential). Practiced at management of on-site labour & resources (essential). Valid SMSTS & CSCS Card Holder (essential). Knowledge of CDM Management Principles (essential). Extensive knowledge of production of project documentation eg. RAMs, Quality Plans, Project Plans, Cost Sheets (CTC), Trackers (essential).

What you can expect in return

Salary Range competitive & negotiable depending on experience. £5,100 per annum cash for cars allowance or option of company car. 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and option to buy 5 days and sell 2 days. Contributory company pension scheme. Life Assurance. Company Funded Health Cash Plan. Hours: 36.5 hours per week (Monday to Thursday 8.45 - 16.40, Friday 8.45 - 4pm).
