The Base Engineer will report to the Survey & Subsea department head and will be responsible for managing the company’s survey assets, ensuring that they are ready for deployment to project, and providing technical support to the offshore team. This role would suit ex-military candidates and applications from former service personnel are encouraged. Duties and Responsibilities Management of the company’s survey equipment – (Computers, GPS receivers, UAV drones, Inspection ROVs, Gyrocompasses, Motion sensors, Geophysical data acquisition systems both subsea and terrestrial, radio telemetry, oceanographic). Maintaining workshop and equipment records in accordance with company procedures. Preparation & maintenance of equipment for deployment to project. Providing technical support to live projects. Skills and Qualifications: HND or Degree qualification in relevant engineering discipline. 3-5 years minimum experience in similar onshore/offshore role. Valid driving licence.
