Hays are delighted to be working with an award-winning, multidisciplinary practice in Belfast who provide a design consultancy service throughout Ireland and the UK. As one of Northern Ireland's longest established consultants, they boast a large and experienced team who have worked on projects in all sectors of the built environment. They were early adopters of BIM and have integrated BIM software across the practice. Their new build design work and preservation of listed buildings can be seen all over the UK and Ireland and has won them numerous awards locally and nationally. In addition, they have moved into attractive, modern offices in central Belfast and offer a vibrant, collaborative design space.
Your New Role
You will join a dynamic team who are working on a number of prospective schemes as well as new missions, mostly in Northern Ireland but also in the south of Ireland and mainland UK. You will develop specifications and perform material, product selection, and research. Other responsibilities entail assisting designers and project managers in conceptual input on assigned projects.
What You'll Need to Succeed
Our client is interested in speaking with Architects who are Part 3 qualified and ideally possess experience in the commercial, leisure, hospitality, retail, or civil sectors or are members of the RIBA conservation register. It is expected that you will be competent in carrying out the full range of professional services and have working knowledge of NI / UK building regulations. A working knowledge of Revit and BIM would be an advantage.
