What will the Financial Controller role involve? Build and nurture relationships with internal and external stakeholders, hosting regular performance reviews to drive accountability and excellence. Establish and maintain a strong culture of financial control, ensuring audit compliance and operational efficiency. Provide guidance, mentorship, and development opportunities to your team, ensuring high morale and optimal performance. Analyse team activities, reduce inefficiencies, and implement best practices, including leveraging methodologies like Lean or Six Sigma. Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, period-end close processes, and adherence to statutory accounting and tax requirements. Suitable Candidate for the Financial Controller vacancy: 5+ years leading and developing teams in a corporate environment. Fully qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA with 5+ years of post-qualification experience. A deep understanding of R2R processes, month-end close cycles, and financial system landscapes. Proven success in streamlining processes and guiding teams through technical accounting challenges. A track record of building strong relationships with senior business leaders.
