Your new company
Working for an international bank in their London headquarters, you will be joining the product control function on the corporate banking side of the business. You will initially join on a 6-month contract, but there is an opportunity to become permanent following the contract.
Your new role
You will join the corporate banking side of the product control team and be responsible for the day-to-day and month-to-month reporting for corporate banking products. You will also liaise between the front office and FP&A teams to develop MI packs for business. There is also a system migration taking place from Excel to SAP Business Objects which, if you have the right experience, could be part of your role as well.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience working in the banking industry, with an FP&A or Product Control background. It will also be highly advantageous to have experience with SAP Business Objects and Power BI tools. You do not need to be a qualified accountant, but hands-on experience working in a similar role in the banking industry is absolutely essential. A successful candidate will have a data science background and be able to handle, manipulate, and analyse large data sets.
