Overview : We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled Data Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will focus on testing ETL processes, ensuring data integrity, and validating data pipelines within Snowflake or other data platforms. The role involves verifying that data flows correctly from source to destination and meets business requirements. Key Responsibilities : Test and validate ETL processes to ensure data quality and accuracy. Perform data reconciliation and verification between source systems and Snowflake or other target platforms. Execute manual and automated tests for data pipelines. Identify, log, and track defects, working closely with the development team to resolve issues. Create and maintain test cases, scripts, and documentation for ETL processes. Collaborate with data engineers and business analysts to understand requirements and business rules. Ensure data transformation rules are correctly applied. Perform data profiling and integrity checks to ensure compliance with business requirements. Support the creation of test strategies and plans for data-related projects. Skills & Qualifications : Experience with ETL processes and tools (e.g., Talend, Informatica, or similar). Knowledge of Snowflake or other cloud data platforms. Familiarity with SQL and ability to write complex queries for testing. Understanding of data quality, data integrity, and data validation techniques. Ability to work with large datasets and complex data structures. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG) is a plus. Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment. Education & Experience : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 2+ years of experience in data testing, ETL testing, or data quality roles. Why Datacom?
