As a global people relations function, we work for the business but we get results by working for our colleagues. The Global People Relations Team Leader role is critical to ensure Entain continues to be a great place to work. It’s about so much more than managing conduct or poor performance. You’ll take a proactive approach to improving colleague experience and where issues do arise, you’ll ensure that a fair and reasonable approach is followed at all times with informal resolution at the heart of everything you do. Your stakeholders will look to you for expert, pragmatic and commercial advice on every matter you are briefed on. Your team will look to you to lead by example and support them with all escalated matters. You’ll be expected to ensure standards are maintained at all times by adopting a coaching-style and taking great care, normally through the analysis of management information, to ensure no opportunity to do even better is lost. Working with another team leader, you will: line manage the advisor population; manage the production and analysis of all management information; oversee the running of non-UK territories to ensure key objectives are met and the overall People Relations strategy is being executed; lead on complex employee relations matters e.g. grievances, whistleblowing and exits; lead on complex restructure programmes e.g. large-scale redundancies, TUPE; manage key internal stakeholder relationships e.g. people partners, reward, people services, employee forum; manage key external stakeholder relationships e.g. occupational health, HSSE supplier; manage, together with advisor/senior advisor, all early conciliation and tribunal matters; identify areas in need of improvement and propose (and implement) solutions; coach & develop the advisor population; attend functional/area team meetings to represent People Relations; and deputise for team manager. Qualifications

5+ years’ experience in employee relations; line management experience including upskilling and coaching; experience of managing complex employee relations matters e.g. grievances, whistleblowing and capability; experience of managing complex restructure programmes; ability to influence senior stakeholders; comfortable with analysis of management information and producing recommendations; experience of working with legal counsel to manage external matters up to, and including, hearing; ability to juggle legal risk and commercial considerations; excellent verbal and written communication skills; experience of working with/advising in non-UK territories; experience of working in a retail environment.
