We are working with a well-established, progressive veterinary practice in South Manchester to recruit a Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced vet looking for a four-day working week, a supportive team environment, and excellent career development opportunities. The Role The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience and be comfortable with some sole charge responsibilities. The position includes occasional late evening shifts (5 pm–11 pm) and weekend work on a rota basis, but there are no on-call duties. This seven-branch practice prides itself on providing gold-standard care supported by a Tier 3 hospital and a multi-disciplinary referral team. The successful candidate will have access to state-of-the-art facilities, including: Advanced diagnostic imaging (CT scanner) Doppler echocardiography Flexible and rigid endoscopy Direct and dental radiography Ultrasound scanners Electrocautery Laparoscopy and advanced anaesthesia equipment Location The practice is based in a beautiful area with access to both the Peak District and Lake District, offering a perfect blend of outdoor pursuits and city life, with excellent transport links and proximity to Manchester.
