10.02.25 Qualified Band 6 Mammographer working in Pennine Breast Imaging (Band 5 trainee applicants welcome with band 6 role on completion of training and preceptorship). To undertake screening and symptomatic mammograms, assist in mammographic procedures on women referred for further examinations, and participate in the departmental quality assurance programme. The post holder will work as part of the multidisciplinary team undertaking mammograms in the screening and symptomatic service. The post will involve working on mobile units in the community and at the base unit at SLH in Bradford. Responsibilities include working in recall clinics assisting advanced practitioners and radiologists with interventional procedures and maintaining the departmental quality assurance programme. Undertaking mammograms in the screening and symptomatic services using empathy and ensuring the highest standard of radiographic technique to maintain NHSBSP standards. Work at the base unit at Saint Luke's Hospital in Bradford and on mobile units in the community, being accountable for the management of satellite clinics. Maintain departmental quality assurance programme by undertaking QA checks on equipment. Assist Radiologists and Advanced Practitioners with interventional procedures and correct handling of specimens. Person specification

Organisational and leadership skills NHSBSP experience Knowledge and willingness to undertake research projects Previous experience in clinical supervising and mentoring within the NHSBSP Skills
