Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Home Manager to lead our team and manage the day-to-day operations of our dementia care home. The ideal candidate will be a registered nurse with prior experience in managing a care home. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a passion for improving the lives of individuals living with dementia.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee the overall management and operations of the care home. Ensure the highest standards of care and safety for all residents. Lead, mentor, and support the care team to achieve excellence in care delivery. Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of residents. Maintain compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements. Foster a positive and inclusive environment for residents, staff, and families. Manage budgets, resources, and staffing effectively. Liaise with healthcare professionals, families, and external agencies.
Requirements: Must be a registered nurse (valid NMC registration). Proven experience as a Home Manager in a care home setting. Strong understanding of dementia care practices and principles. Excellent leadership and management skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Must reside within a commutable distance to Stourport-on-Severn.
