We have exciting opportunities within Swindon Borough Council’s Property Maintenance Gas team. If you are a Gas Engineer looking for a varied role, now is the time for you to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for the servicing and maintenance of our Gas appliances within our local 10,500 domestic rentable homes. Please note this role is 37 hours per week and you will be required to have flexibility to cover the core hours of the business. We would welcome the opportunity to discuss this at interview. In addition to the core hours, there are potential increased earnings through overtime. This role is subject to contractual call out and would be paid additionally as per the following: Overtime paid at x1.1/3 Monday to Sunday and x2 on bank holidays. Tools provided to Gas Engineers: Company vehicle provided for business use only Makita battery power tool kit provided Mobile phone and tablet (Business use only) 32 days per annum after 5 years’ service.
