As Senior Architectural Technologist, you will be based in Belfast for an architectural firm which has built an excellent reputation for their work on a range of projects. They are a household name in Ireland, known for their expertise in design, master-planning, project management, and sustainability. They provide services to a variety of sectors including high-rise residential buildings, large industrial clients for office buildings and industrial extensions, as well as universities and health-care. Your New Role As a Senior Architectural Technologist, you will be primarily involved in the technical planning and detailing of large projects across a range of sectors. This role will give you autonomy to run the project and manage your time, making a refreshing change from micromanagement some practices can provide! There will be full BIM implementation on projects, so you should be familiar with and demonstrate competency in the software. You will face plenty of technical challenges, but ultimately it will be rewarding when you see the finished product. You will be working with an experienced team of architects and technologists in a collaborative atmosphere with a passion for projects. Job Requirements For this role, you should have an architectural degree in Architectural Technology or a similar related design degree in construction. Ideally, you will have worked in a practice or contractor environment in a design-related role. You should show competency using Revit 3D software, producing models and detailing. Knowledge of BIM and experience working with other consultancies and contractors to revise changes and make modifications would be valuable.
