The Role:
As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the plant, handling both planned and reactive maintenance. Your expertise will help optimise production, minimise downtime, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical and mechanical equipment. Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on production machinery. Respond swiftly to breakdowns to minimize downtime. Collaborate with the operations team to drive process improvements. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards. Maintain accurate records of work completed using the company's CMMS system.
Skills & Experience Required:
Electrically biased with strong mechanical skills. Minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Proven experience in an FMCG, manufacturing, or similar environment. Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings. Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
