DOCKLANDS, VIC, AU, 3008 The Opportunity Reporting to the Head of Risk and Compliance Mastery, this role will support various functional units to implement and strengthen Medibank’s Operational Risk and Compliance frameworks, driving a culture of proactive risk management. You’ll provide expert advice on controls uplift to enhance the overall assurance infrastructure, assessing and evaluating both business unit and Group controls to identify areas for improvement. About you The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7-8 years' experience in the Risk and Compliance profession, with a solid understanding of risk management, compliance disciplines, and the regulatory environment in which Medibank operates. You’ll have in-depth knowledge and practical experience documenting controls through design workshops, control reviews, and process walkthroughs, as well as strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify trends and interpret information. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the proven ability to work collaboratively in a team, contribute proactively to continuous improvement, and manage relationships with stakeholders. The candidate should also have the ability to influence and negotiate change within a large organisation, build strong, open relationships, and manage competing priorities in a professional and risk-based manner. A relevant qualification/accreditation in commerce, law, technology, management, and/or finance will be viewed favourably.
