A large international business with offices near Plymouth is recruiting a Technical Accounting Manager to manage a small team focused on Fixed and Lease Assets.
Working within the central accounting team, the key deliverables of the Technical Accounting Manager are:
Owning the Fixed and Lease Asset accounting, ensuring the application of best practice, process improvements, standardisation and effective controls.
Day to day team management.
Business partnering with stakeholders both internally and externally about the management and maintenance of ongoing leases.
Being the central point of contact for Fixed and Lease Assets for the UK businesses.
Working within the capital investment team around capital expenditure proposals, overseeing the process to enable the successful delivery of the capex portfolio.
The ideal candidate for the Technical Accounting Manager will:
Be a technically strong qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
Have experience of managing and developing a team.
Possess demonstrable experience of reviewing and improving processes.
The role could suit candidates from either a practice (including straight from practice) or industry background with experience in a similar technical/group reporting or audit role.
