Due to significant growth in the Arcadis Defence sector, we are recruiting for positions working alongside our client organisation and in client-side roles, to deliver a wide range of high-profile buildings projects. Due to the nature of these projects, existing BPSS clearance or the ability to pass BPSS security clearance is essential. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing technical aspects of small projects or components of larger projects, meeting financial, quality and timeframe objectives and meeting or exceeding client expectations. You will work collaboratively with other design disciplines to ensure the integration of the overall design or solution and you'll participate in the development of technical proposals. You will also present technical solutions to clients. As a Senior Engineer, you will lead reviews of project deliverables on behalf of the mechanical engineering discipline and you'll be expected to manage project teams of up to 5 people, ensuring work is allocated appropriately, resources are fully utilized, and that any issues are resolved. Qualifications & Experience: A BSc/BEng or MSc/MEng in Mechanical Engineering or similar Chartered Engineer (CEng) Previous relevant experience in a consultancy environment Previous experience working on Nuclear or Defence projects preferable Capability to provide mechanical building services expertise Existing BPSS clearance or the ability to pass BPSS security clearance is essential.
