Looking for a Civils Project Engineer to join an up and coming contractor based in the central belt in Scotland. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of civil engineering projects for multiple clients including Local Authority, Government and Private. Responsibilities

Review project drawings supplied by clients (using PDF and CAD software) to quantify materials, resolve engineering difficulties and carry out on site setting out (using total station or similar) in conjunction with project drawings. Undertake drone flights using DJI Drones to capture site data including scaled imagery and 3D models (full training provided). Conduct land surveying and site assessments to gather necessary data for project planning. In conjunction with the Works Manager and Contracts Manager - organise and plan project programmes, resources, and budgets. This will include programming works using Microsoft Project (full training provided) and the creation of Health and Safety documents (RAMs, CPP, etc). Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders and facilitate effective communication throughout the project lifecycle. Prepare detailed reports and documentation to support project progress and outcomes. In conjunction with the Director, author tenders for new projects by assisting with quantifying materials, receiving supplier quotes, provision of documents and final submission. Requirements

HNC, HND or a degree in Civil Engineering is essential. Candidates that have a Civil Engineering apprenticeship (Engineer route) background will also be considered. Proficiency in PDF software, CAD and all Microsoft Office is essential. Strong understanding of the method of measurement for materials, such as the Method of Measurement for Highway Works. Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Salary is negotiable depending on candidate experience, as candidates from a variety of levels will be considered. Additional Benefits
