About the English Teaching Role: As an English Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing a love for language and literature among students. You will deliver engaging lessons, promote critical thinking, and support learners in achieving their full potential.

Key Responsibilities of an English Teacher:

Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in English language and literature across a range of abilities and year groups. Foster an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that supports all learners. Assess, monitor, and provide constructive feedback on student progress. Encourage students to develop a deep appreciation for reading, writing, and communication skills. Participate in departmental planning and contribute to the development of innovative teaching resources. Support extracurricular activities and enrichment programmes related to English and literacy.

About You: The ideal English Teaching candidate will have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. A degree in English or a related subject. A proven track record of teaching English at secondary level, with excellent subject knowledge. A passion for education and the ability to inspire students of all abilities. Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills. A commitment to ongoing professional development and a collaborative approach to teaching.
