30 - 35k + van/fuel card + door-to-door travel Our client is expanding due to new contracts and is seeking a Trainee Air Conditioning Engineer / Air Con Improver to join the team. Working on a mobile basis, you will be responsible for carrying out preventative planned maintenance according to schedules on a wide range of air conditioning appliances for offices, laboratories, residential, hospitals, and more. You will work both alone and with another engineer depending on what is required. As an Air Conditioning Improver / HVAC Improver, you will carry out maintenance on systems such as VRVs, VRFs, splits, etc. There will be opportunities to train and develop further as an air conditioning / HVAC engineer. Covering the Berks/Wilts/OX areas, you will be responsible for carrying out air conditioning maintenance on contracts for high-profile clients and household names. Our client is a reputable and well-established local company specializing in air conditioning and ventilation systems/HVAC within the residential and commercial sectors. Close working relationships with high-profile blue-chip/household name clients mean long-term contracts and job security. Our client has secured new contracts and is expanding the maintenance team to service the equipment installed by the business. This encompasses all aspects of maintenance on a wide range of appliances, including air conditioning such as AHUs, VRVs, VRFs, splits, etc. Operating a team of multi-skilled engineers across the Berks/Wilts/OX area. Excellent reputation for delivering quality and high standards of service. Good customer service skills, well-presented and articulate, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients. Recognized air conditioning qualifications including F-Gas, City & Guilds NVQ. Experience of working on air conditioning contracts previously. Good working knowledge of a wide range of air conditioning appliances including splits, VRVs, VRFs, split systems, etc. Motivated and trustworthy. Must be looking to progress with a forward-thinking, up-and-coming business.
