Payments Analyst

will be responsible for reviewing RDC’s deposits through Mobile banking as well as ATM platforms. The task would include review of remote deposit and ATM checks, ACH Disputes, and processing account adjustments. This role will also support our SR. Analyst and other deposit Ops Daily Tasks. Essential Responsibilities: Manage and decision Remote Deposit Captures through online platform/ATMs. Adhere to LCCU policies and best practices for check acceptance. Experience working with GLs and processing check deposit adjustments and disputes. Maintain and track all adjustments processed within Deposit Ops. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations while optimizing member experience. Monitor Deposit Ops email proxy for escalations and research inquiries, assigning research to SR analyst as needed. Collaborate with Risk and Compliance team to establish a comprehensive Payments compliance oversight program, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements. Maintain awareness of and adherence to LCCU policies, procedures, and regulations such as Reg D, Reg E, Reg Z, Bank Secrecy Act, Federal Reserve, ACH, and other relevant requirements. Monitor daily processing to ensure timely completion, goal achievement, and regulation compliance. Collaborate with Retail Services, Operations, and the Virtual Center to address escalated payment and online banking issues (Bill Pay, RDC). Requirements High School Diploma or its equivalent and an associate degree or equivalent related work experience. Minimum of three (3) years of Credit Union or equivalent experience. Highly proficient in using business software applications including, but not limited to, MS Office and applications like Ensenta Admin, Image Center (ITC) and core banking applications (Symitar preferred). Experience with Mobile Deposits and Image Center ITC, and dispute processing. Must possess strong technical, mathematical, organizational, decision-making, and people skills and be capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously. Experience in working cross-divisionally and collaboratively with all areas of the business. Must be able to focus on details, correlate various pieces of information, identify trends, and/or understand the reasons behind challenges and successes. Ability to think strategically and connect the dots to the bigger picture while still comfortable diving into the details required to ensure successful execution. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Physical requirements: Must be able to sit for extended periods of time, use the computer and telephone to complete work, and lift up to 30 pounds at times.
