Senior Interior Designer (Commercial Workplace Design) £90,000 - £95,000 pa. London | Office based

Are you a Senior Interior Designer looking for a new change in your career? We are working together with a commercial workplace design company. Jak is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to join this exciting company. As a key member of their design team, you will contribute to various projects and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Collaborate with Project Directors and Directors on Interior Design projects, with a specific focus on corporate fit-out. Manage client expectations and effectively present project proposals. Meet and liaise with clients to assess project costs and provide technical specifications. Prepare technical and 3D drawings, computer visualizations, CAD layout drawings, and presentation boards. Lead projects and oversee junior interior designers. Coordinate with consultant teams to ensure effective design integration. Manage project costs and contribute to budget planning. Prepare comprehensive presentation boards. Select finishes, materials, and FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment). Perform other ad-hoc duties as required by the business.

Requirements: Hold a degree in Interior Design or a related field. Demonstrate a proven track record in workspace design fields. Possess a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise. Exhibit the ability to communicate ideas three dimensionally. Proficient in Revit (intermediate level required). Computer literate, with excellent skills in programs such as: Revit, AutoCAD, InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator. Ability to sketch is desirable. Showcase excellent conceptual design and presentation skills. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients. Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively. Thrive in a team-oriented environment. Demonstrate a flexible approach to work, including willingness to travel and work long hours if necessary.
