Miller Maxwell is working with a global financial services organisation seeking to hire a Technical Support Analyst for a front-office team in London. The Technical Support Analyst will support a sophisticated, leading-edge trading platform used by front-office traders globally. The Technical Support Analyst will gain experience of exchange connectivity, market data feed support and low-latency trading. Responsibilities:
Provide support to front-office users on trading product suite.
Act as a key point of contact for trading, messaging and risk related issues to users.
Interact with senior management and traders daily.
Extensive interaction with front-office users.
Resolve exchange queries and real-time trading issues.
Test and execute production changes.
Minimum Requirements:
A degree in a STEM related subject.
3 years of commercial financial software support experience.
Experience working for a Brokerage, Exchange, hedge fund, investment bank or software vendor.
Ideally Scripting experience - Python - Shell - Bash.
FIX Protocol - FIX Connectivity or ITCH experience is essential.
Algorithmic trading experience is highly beneficial.
Ability to work under pressure.
