Additional: Experience with the ERP system Workday is preferred; however, other ERPs such as Oracle and SAP are also considered. Overview: As the Business Development Director, you will play a key role in driving business growth by helping clients address complex challenges and transform how they operate in today’s digital world. Your primary focus will be on driving new business, executing strategic sales initiatives, achieving targets, and leading a high-performing team recognized as a leader in the sector. You will be driven by a passion for solving challenges, fostering strong relationships, and engaging clients through impactful, thoughtful interactions. By building lasting relationships with customers and industry partners, you’ll uncover cross-selling opportunities that benefit both the business and its clients. Most importantly, you will lead your team with a mix of intellect, energy, and empathy, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment that encourages learning, growth, and career development. Key Responsibilities: Sales Leadership and Strategy:

Lead and grow the sales pipeline within your region, ensuring you meet and exceed sales targets. You will accurately forecast revenue and help shape business development strategies that align with the company’s objectives. Team Development:

Mentor, coach, and guide a team of sales professionals. You will ensure effective pipeline management, maintain high CRM standards, and help your team meet performance goals. Your leadership will focus on both short-term success and long-term career development. Pipeline Growth:

Leverage industry best practices to identify new business opportunities and develop tailored sales strategies. You will oversee the development of sector- and region-specific account plans and lead pursuit teams to close deals and achieve revenue goals. Consultative Selling:

Use a consultative approach to understand clients' needs, challenges, and opportunities. Through active listening and empathy, you will develop tailored solutions that address client pain points and build long-term trust and partnerships. Deal Structuring:

Lead the creation of commercial offers, ensuring deals align with both customer expectations and business profitability objectives. You will drive the negotiation process to ensure mutually beneficial agreements. Strategic Partnerships:

Build and nurture strong relationships with key partners in the industry. By positioning the business as a trusted and valued partner, you will open new avenues for collaboration and ensure continued success in the market. Key Qualifications: Experience:

Minimum of 5 years in selling large-scale digital services, with a proven track record of delivering multi-million-pound deals. Sales Expertise:

Strong understanding of the sales process, including the ability to manage complex sales cycles, create strategic account plans, and close high-value deals. Leadership:

Experience in managing, mentoring, and coaching sales teams to success. You will foster an environment that encourages growth and maximizes team potential. Communication Skills:

Exceptional communication, presentation, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with C-suite executives and other senior stakeholders. Negotiation Skills:

Expertise in both commercial and contract negotiations, with the ability to resolve conflicts and navigate complex deal structures. Networking:

Proven ability to build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
