We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced BDM to join our global client in London. This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a business where you will instantly receive a client portfolio. Joining their friendly and extremely successful team, in their beautiful offices in London you will nurture existing accounts whilst bringing on new business. They are a dynamic, billion-dollar global company, with operations across the world providing innovative IT workplace solutions.

Due to company growth, we are searching for a career orientated sales professional to join an award-winning team. Responsible for generating and developing new business with great marketing support and exceptional existing client reference sites. Reporting to the Head of Sales, the successful candidate will be generating and converting new business opportunities into revenue, generating customers and growing service lines through proactive engagement and development of accounts. Benefits: Starting salary of up to £45,000 for the right person. £5,000 car allowance 20 days holiday + 8 days bank holidays Gym membership

The Role: Manage a small portfolio of customers with a hunger for new business. Generate business opportunities and generate profitable sales. Develop and build new business relationships within the specified target market/verticals through consistent and systematic relationship building. Actively seek to understand target markets, the industry they operate in, the company, clients, products and services, and which market strategies can be used to attract new clients. The Business Development Manager will meet and exceed bookings, revenue, and margin targets. Prepare proposals and quotes supporting your sales. Collaborate closely with Marketing and Business Development teams to develop lead generation campaigns that drive new business. Researching organisations and individuals online to identify new leads and potential new markets. Contacting potential clients via email, social or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings. Prepare and deliver customer facing presentations to articulate solutions and return on investment. Maintain fruitful relationships with existing customers.

About you: The BDM/Sales Account Manager will ideally have experience in MPS or workplace solutions. Knowledge and experience of a structured sales process. Ability to quickly build and grow prospect customer relationships. Experience in the development of cross functional relationships with both internal teams and external clients. Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously. Business acumen and commercial awareness, the ability to solve business issue with IT solutions. Influential in negotiation and communication
