About the Non-Qualified Biology Teaching Role:

In this role, you will deliver engaging and informative biology lessons to secondary school students. While formal teaching qualifications are not required, you should have a deep understanding of the subject and a commitment to fostering a love for learning. Full training and support will be provided to help you succeed and grow in this role.

Key Responsibilities of a Non-Qualified Biology Teacher:

Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in biology, adapting to the needs of all learners. Inspire and motivate students to explore the wonders of biology and develop critical thinking skills. Collaborate with colleagues to create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment. Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support. Participate in departmental planning and contribute to curriculum development. Uphold the school's commitment to excellence and student success.

About You:

The ideal Non-Qualified Biology Teaching candidate will have: A degree in biology or a related field. A passion for education and the ability to communicate complex concepts in an accessible way. Strong organisational and interpersonal skills. A willingness to learn and develop teaching skills, with support from the school. Previous experience working with young people (desirable but not essential).
