You will be required to work with both children, young people and adults who have been referred with an eating disorder. You will be required to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and to provide specialist assessment, treatment and care to a caseload of people with an eating disorder. The successful candidate will be required to provide care to service users within the legal frameworks of the Mental Health (Wales) Measure 2010, the Social Services and Well-Being (Wales) Act 2014 and the Mental Health Act (1983). You must be enthusiastic, self-motivated, flexible in approach, and able to work autonomously. Effective communication and engagement skills are fundamental to this role, as well as a current evidence-based knowledge and a commitment to working with individuals adopting a recovery approach and working within a trauma-informed model of care, as well as a good understanding of Eating disorder models and NICE Guidelines.
